of Massachusetts (Metro-West and Beyond)

We are a diverse newly formed informal, non-profit, volunteer based group.

Looking to make new friends, get out and try something new? Stuck in a rut? Bored? Recently moved here? Well so far we have had a spaghetti supper, movie night in, game nights, Mexican dinner out, bowling, pizza party, billiards (food, fun and drinks) potlucks, and lazer tag.

We have traditionally met every other week on Fridays. Which can always be changed based on people's availability. As we could have a mid-week event, Saturday, Sunday Brunch or other event. Let us know your thoughts!

There are NO event fees like most other Activity groups. You pay your own way as you would with your friends.

EVENT PLANNERS MEET MORE PEOPLE.
As is the norm for member-run groups, the Event Planners are at the heart of the group. They meet everyone at the event. Beyond keeping the group alive, you will enjoy the friendships that develop and the thank you's from the people who attend.

The best event is one that you and or your friends have already have planned, creating a group event lets others in on the fun.

 

Here are a some event ideas gathered by a few people, are you and or your friends interested in joining us in any of the following activities?

Archery
Acton Jazz Cafe (and Blues)

Biking the Nashua Rail Trail (11 miles one way) Starts in Ayer goes through Ayer, Groton, Pepperell, and to the New Hampshire border in Dunstable.
Bowling
Billiards or other similar venue (food, fun and drinks)
Bingo
BBQ
Bonfire

Comedy Club
Crafts (any kind, learn, teach, start/finish a project)
Contra Dancing (In Concord MA Thursday or Saturday

Fishing
Fire Your Desire (paint your own pottery)

Games-board
Girls night out
Guy's night out

Kayaking

Lazer Zone/ Lazer Tag

Movie night in/out
Mini Golf at Kimballs in Westford

Paint Ball
Potluck (homemade, store bought doesn't matter; just NO NUTS, or $5.00 contribution)

Rock Climbing

Sunday Brunch at noon (local to Groton)
Sci-Fi movie marathon (at members home in Lowell)
Scavenger hunt (find items on list and take digital pics or obtain the items
